As someone who has been in church all of my life, I know what it means to be religious. I also know
what it means to truly seek a personal relationship with God. I responded to the gospel on October 24,
1979 at the age of eighteen. The desire to follow Jesus was an immediate fruit of salvation and soon a
lifetime of Christian service seemed to be the only conceivable course for me. My pursuit of Christ has
taken me on a wonderful journey; from Bible College to Seminary to Pastoral Ministry. I've served Jesus
as a pastor for 35 years. And it is still deep in my heart to feed His sheep.

I now serve as pastor of Martinez Global Methodist Church with a sense of excitement and anticipation.
I’m convinced that everyone who witnesses what God does here will be blessed. And so I extend to you
the same invitation that Jesus once gave to the Apostle Andrew: “Come and see!” (John 1:39-41)
